ESG Eco-tour

3 Sep 2021

On 3 Sep 2021, our ESG & Sustainability Reporting team joined the Eco-tour to the Jockey Club Museum of Climate Change at the Chinese University of Hong Kong (CUHK).

As a result of human activities such as industrial revolution, carbon dioxide emissions, and deforestation, the severity of global warming has escalated dramatically over the past decades. Glacial melt in Antarctic and Greenland caused by the rise in temperature has been linked with increasing frequency and severity of storms and hurricanes around the planet.

The tour aims to raise public awareness on environmental protection, conservation issues and promote sustainable development. Through visiting the ecological attractions and green facilities at CUHK, it helps to strengthen our colleagues’ understanding of sustainable development and provides them with a comprehensive insight into the connections between our day-to-day activities and the environment and in turn supports ROMA’s “Go Green” initiatives.
